Dr. McNeily is certified in Cosmetic Acupuncture. With age or exposure to elements, the skin loses elasticity and can appear dull and droopy. Cosmetic Acupuncture can be done to increase collagen and lift the face, neck, and eyelids. Cosmetic acupuncture can help to define cheek, and jaw lines. It can minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, lips and neck. Scars and stretch marks can be treated using acupuncture to diminish the appearance. This is a minimally invasive way to improve overall quality and well being. Cosmetic acupuncture is non- toxic, without injections or fillers. It can be used in combination with other cosmetic procedures.

It can be a little confusing on what exactly you should call your doctor. We have just made it a little more confusing! I recently got married and have changed my name from Dr. Sarah Abbott to Dr. Sarah McNeily. Though the names are different, I am one and the same! Hope this helps clear it up.
I volunteered my services for a very special few Navy SEALs. They do a swim every year that challenges them to swim several miles across a lake just outside of Charlote, NC. They do it as a fundraiser for Wounded Warriors and Operation Restored Warrior. Approximately 22 veterans and service professionals commit suicide daily as a result of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and CRS (Combat Related Stress.) That number is higher than the number of SEALs that are lost in combat! Their swimming in any weather has been a sucess for the last few years as a way to help those service men and women in need. Those SEALs needed some treatment after a full day of swimming too! It's a small way to say thank you for all their service and for continuing to bring awareness to the hardships of military service.

I worked with Athletes' Performance (now EXOS), a company who specialized in ethical performance enhancement for the elite and professional althelte and veteran. I learned a ton about human movement and preventitive performance rehabilition before I even became a chiropractor. Still to this day, I use one of their very best stretches with my patients and as part of my own workout warm up routine. Check out their video by clicking on the link below:
